Job Summary
The Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to guests by taking orders serving food and beverages and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires excellent communication skills attention to detail and a friendly professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
Present menus answer questions and make recommendations when requested.
Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and beverages in a timely professional manner.
Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Clear and reset tables efficiently for the next guests.
Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions responsibly.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and service stations.
Follow all safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations.
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Basic math and POS system skills.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays.
Food handler and/or alcohol service certification (if applicable).
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Frequent standing walking bending and reaching.
