The Senior Psychologist leads the Psychology Team within the Therapeutic and Counselling stream delivering high-quality psychological support to children adolescents and adults and provides effective clinical supervision to provisional and registered psychologists.
This role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of psychological services including assessments and therapeutic interventions while maintaining a small clinical caseload.
As the Senior Psychologist reporting Directly to the Executive Manager Therapeutic and Counselling you will lead the psychology team by fostering a harmonious ethical and high-performing work environment delivering comprehensive psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions across the state. You will triage and assess incoming referrals ensuring alignment with professional competencies and service scope and provide effective clinical supervision to provisional and registered psychologists including induction case consultation and debriefing. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and development of the team ensuring alignment with CatholicCare Tasmanias mission and values
The Senior Psychologist will bring a minimum of 5 years post graduate clinical experience and have current and full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and be Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.
