Our client a leading company in the Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve business targets in the wire products hardware and building materials segment. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge proven experience in B2B and B2C sales and the ability to lead a team to deliver growth in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets for wire products hardware and metal-based building materials.
- Identify new business opportunities distributors and project clients within the construction industrial and hardware sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients contractors retailers and wholesalers.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and recommend pricing and product positioning strategies.
- Prepare sales forecasts budgets and performance reports for management review.
- Lead train and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
- Coordinate with the production logistics and finance departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in trade fairs exhibitions and promotional events to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
- Negotiate contracts pricing and payment terms with clients to ensure profitability and risk management.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelors degree in Sales & Marketing Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 58 years of experience in sales of wire products steel hardware or building materials preferably in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in an industrial or construction materials environment.
- Strong understanding of the Tanzanian and East African construction market.
- Excellent communication negotiation and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP or CRM systems.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel across regions.
