Inventory and Despatch Coordinator

Location: Kaitaia Northland Closing Date: 19th September 2025

Juken New Zealand Ltd (JNL) is a leading international forest and wood products company supplying local and global timber markets. We operate three wood processing plants across New Zealands North Island and manage forests in the Wairarapa and East Coast regions. JNL is proudly part of the global WoodOne group based in Japan.

Our Kaitaia operation includes two mills running 24 hours a day 5½ days a week processing Radiata Pine into reconstituted wood panels and peeled dried veneer.

Were currently seeking an experienced and motivated Inventory and Despatch Coordinator to join our team at the Northland Mill in Kaitaia. This is a full-time position working five 8-hour days per week with some daily overtime as required.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of our finished goods while maintaining a strong focus on health safety and compliance. Youll ensure all outgoing loads are fully reconciled against invoices and approvals meeting delivery targets and maintaining our high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain smooth product flow through despatch operations
Ensure accurate dispatch of finished goods onto designated trucks each day
Book transport for finished goods deliveries
Verify freight invoices against despatch documentation
Work closely with planners to ensure timely production of required goods

About You

Were looking for someone with a strong background in despatch inventory or logisticspreferably within the wood processing industry. Youll bring a hands-on detail-oriented approach and a proactive attitude to safety and service.

Ideal Experience and Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role
Strong computer skills
2 years experience operating a forkhoist
1 years experience in a despatch or logistics role (preferred)
3 years experience in the wood industry (preferred)
Forkhoist OSH certification
Full clean NZ Drivers Licence (preferred)
