Experienced Pipelayer Wanted

Were looking for skilled and reliable Pipelayer to join our growing groundworks and civil engineering team. Youll be working on high-quality residential and infrastructure projects installing drainage systems to precise levels and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret site drawings drainage layouts and technical plans

• Install concrete clay and plastic drainage pipes accurately using pipe lasers

• Set up trench supports drag boxes and manhole boxes safely and efficiently

• Construct bench and finish manholes and associated drainage structures

• Manage groundwater and dewatering using pumps and other suitable methods

• Backfill and compact trenches in accordance with specifications

• Carry out internal and external drainage works to required standards

• Work safely around existing live services

• Assist with general groundworks kerbing and paving as required

• Perform daily pre-start safety checks on tools plant and equipment

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card (or equivalent)

• Minimum 5 years experience in groundworks and pipelaying/drainage installation

• CPCS or NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) plant operator tickets Dumper essential

• Confined space training (advantageous)

• Strong understanding of levels falls and pipe laser setup

• Reliable proactive and able to work well as part of a team

• Right to work in the UK
