Skilled Pipelayer

Coinford is seeking experienced Pipelayers to join our expanding team. This role is central to our first-stage groundworks operations focusing on the safe and accurate installation of drainage systems and utilities. If you are an expert in pipelaying and groundworks with the drive to deliver quality we want to hear from you.

• Valid CSCS Card

• Interpret and work from drawings and drainage specifications.

• Competent in the installation of concrete clay and plastic pipes of all sizes ensuring correct bedding surround and pressure testing.

• Skilled in setting up and using pipe lasers for accuracy in line and level.

• Proficient in the safe installation of trench boxes drag boxes and manhole boxes.

• Experienced in benching manholes and completing drainage chambers to a high standard.

• Confident working around live services with a strong focus on service avoidance.

• Capable of managing groundwater through the correct selection and use of pumps.

• Ensure proper backfilling compaction and reinstatement of trenches.

• Carry out daily safety checks on plant and equipment reporting defects to site management.

• Operate a Forward Tipping Dumper (valid CPCS/NPORS ticket essential).

• Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets (e.g. Telehandler Roller).

• 510 years experience as a skilled Pipelayer/Groundworker.

• Experienced working gangs/teams are highly valued.

• Reliable punctual and professional on site.

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work alongside trades and operatives to support programme delivery.

• Right to work in the UK.
