Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Roswell GA
Overview:
The Product Quality Assurance Specialist plays a key role in driving quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle from design and development to production and post-launch support. This role supports the execution of quality strategies that ensure product reliability regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Primary Responsibilities
Champion and sustain a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
Monitor analyze and report process metrics to assess and enhance quality system effectiveness.
Create and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure process clarity and consistency.
Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify causes reduce waste and drive continuous process improvement.
Participate in internal audits and help close out findings through effective corrective and preventive actions.
Support the maintenance and improvement of the electronic QMS (eQMS) platform.
Deliver training sessions to strengthen quality culture and awareness across production and engineering teams.
Collaborate in performance improvement initiatives and corrective action reviews.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
Minimum of 2 years experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality system implementation.
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferred.
Experience with CAD platforms (SolidWorks proficiency a plus).
Skilled in developing and executing test protocols and designing test fixtures.
Strong understanding of core quality tools (FMEA control plans root cause analysis CAPA SPC).
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Domestic and occasional international travel may be required.
