Job Summary
Position Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Location: New York NY 10016
Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate: From $59/hr
Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for an exciting job in New York NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support in an adult psychiatric emergency setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Assist with discharge planning and referrals to community resources
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences
Required:
- Masters Degree in Social Work
- Valid LMSW license issued by NYSED (Primary Source Verified)
- Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience
- Experience in hospital and/or psychiatric emergency settings
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
- Additional experience in behavioral health or acute care settings
