DSHS FFA Revenue Agent 1
Department of Social and Health Services Office of Financial Recovery is seeking a hybrid Revenue Agent 1 to join the team in Olympia WA. This role provides triage and collection activities for new client overpayments in the Facilities Finance and Analytics Administration.
This position independently performs routing collection activities. Work includes investigation payment agreements skip tracing debt forgiveness and high volume of phone calls. Programs include public assistance medical food benefits childcare social services and general (interim) assistance.

Note:Incumbent works in a standard office setting 40 hours per week Monday through Friday 8 am-5pm. This position requires long periods of time at the computer. This is a hybrid telework position which requires a minimum of 1 day a week in the office and for all training needs and to include in person meetings within an office setting.
Who should apply
Professionals with a bachelors degree involving major study in business administration accounting police science public administration economics law criminal justice sociology psychology or closely related field.
Or
Two years of experience as a Tax Service Representative or Excise Tax Assistant.
Note: Experience in the collection of civil debt law enforcement personal or corporate finance adjustment of claims or investigations involving background business practices or fraud will be substituted year for year for education.
