About the Role:

Help Nursery is a commercial business of Help Enterprises a community-based social enterprise whose mission is to enhance the lifestyle and independence of people who live with disability. Our wholesale nursery business supplies high quality plants to the landscaping and retail industry. We provide a unique supported workplace environment for many of our employees who live with disability.

Reporting to the Nursery Supervisor you will:

• Perform plant maintenance as directed by the Horticulture Supervisor/Manager.
• Prepare orders for dispatch.
• Be willing to perform spot spraying as part of IPM
• Assist team members when required.
• Liaise with customers.
• Meet production targets as directed by the Horticulture Supervisor/Manager
• Propagation experience highly desirable
• Assist in maintaining a workplace that is safe clean and uncluttered
• Work with Horticulture Supervisor and support staff to achieve personal work goals

We are currently looking for a quality Nursery Support Hand for Full-Time role based in Mitchelton

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous Horticultural experience
• Horticulture Certification (preferred not required)
• Chemcert Certification (preferred not required)
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets
• Ability to work autonomously
• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
