Position Overview:
Working closely with the Senior Energy Program Manager the energy program manager will undertake the following types of tasks:
1. technical assistance to local government clients on energy sustainability topics
2. research on projects related to policy and programs for sustainability with particular emphasis on energy-related issues;
3. serving as a point of contact for internal and external clients interfacing with the team;
4. researching and writing guidance for best practices and/or case studies for sustainable municipal operations and sustainable community programs;
5. developing content for and organizing outreach and training activities such as workshops and public presentations
6. presenting policies best practices and case studies for expert and non-expert audiences.
7. project oversight including reporting progress and ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
9. training and oversight of new staffers.
