The Opportunity:

We buy chemicals in bulk and put them into smaller containers for our customers. This is a closely knit team who really enjoy working with each other. Although the work is fast-paced safety and accuracy come before speed. In this role the QC Inspector will work closely with the entire production and shipping team ensuring labels are accurate and that we are working together to continuously improve the quality of our deliverables.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform document review and approval of completed quality and production documents
• Assist with incoming products/supplies for quality issues
• Create fix update and print labels for products (Create new labels fix broken links/errors update labels and print labels for builds).
• Collect samples of products requested (non-conforming products retain samples customer sample).
• New chemical technicians training. (PPE cart tote measuring tools down packing process)
• Support verifications of products in production and final verifications
• Support receiving as needed
• Assist chemical technicians
• Perform routine inspections of the down packing process throughout the day.
• Conduct routine audits/reviews/inspection
• Proactively communicate with the QA Manager and Operations Manager regarding any quality issues
• Maintain safety standards with Production staff
• Maintain and enforce 5S standards.
• Perform daily inspections on products being packaged for accuracy and cleanliness.
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications & Expertise:

• Knowledge and prior experience in an ISO 9001 or similar environment
• Knowledge of quality systems
• Attention to details is a must
• Food/Beverage Chemical or other regulated environment experience is a plus!
• Proficient with Google Suite and strong technical aptitude
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequently perform tasks requiring climbing bending crawling kneeling and crouching.
• Must wear required PPE including safety glasses masks/respirators gloves goggles and steel toe work shoes with rubber soles.
• Must adhere to long periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to hear understand and distinguish speech and other sounds safely.
• Must be able to use arms and hands for tasks such as reaching signaling grabbing lifting turning pushing and pulling.

Schedule & reporting details:

Full-time 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.

8-5 M-F
