Manufacturing Operations Manager – FA 18 SLM

Company:

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager (Level K) to support out F/A 18 SLM team in Berkeley MO.

The Manufacturing Operations Manager is an exciting opportunity to manage develop and motivated a high performing team of employees on the F/A 18 Service Life Modification (SLM) Program.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
• Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
• Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
• Manages develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 years experience in a leadership role leading multi-disciplinary teams initiatives or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
• 3 years experience working with or supporting military aircraft
• 5 years experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with F/A-18 maintenance operations
• F/A - 18 Retrofit experience or fleet support
• Experience managing with collective bargaining agreement and/or a union-represented workforce
• Bachelors degree or higher
