Job Summary
This role is eligible to participate in Zeniths hybrid work schedule which provides the flexibility to work from home on select days of the week according to the in-office schedule established by regional executive leadership. Selected candidate must be able to report into the Woodland Hills California office on a weekly basis.
A Brief Overview
As part of the Corporate Underwriting team strengthen underwriting quality standards in Field Offices through interaction with underwriters on individual accounts and structured group training. Establish strong working relationships with Zeniths Field Underwriting Marketing Actuarial Communications and Safety & Health departments to enhance and improve communication elevate and explore concepts to strengthen our operations.
Duties
- Partner with Chief Actuary to structure and market Risk Sharing Products to specific Insureds and Prospects.
- Partner with Chief Actuary to educate and market Zenith Risk Sharing Products to Agents.
- Provide technical leadership on Risk Sharing-related subjects including the creating and revising of technical guides.
- Perform as Business Subject Matter Expert in Policy Systems administration and development projects involving Risk Sharing products.
- Conduct appropriate Field training on Risk Sharing Products with Underwriting and Marketing staffs.
- Support various Corporate Underwriting projects that strategically assist Field Underwriting execution
Candidate Qualifications
- Candidate must have minimum experience of 7 years in workers compensation middle market and/or large account underwriting or underwriting management.
- Candidate need not have extensive experience with Risk Sharing Products as Chief Actuary will train and mentor them in specific Zenith Risk Sharing Product approach but experience with large account underwriting is a requisite and familiarity with risk sharing products is preferred.
- Candidate should be a quick study be comfortable and effective in marketing settings and have good facility with Excel.
- Candidate needs to be a self-starter with ability to manage multiple and disparate tasks and projects with the highest standard of responsiveness to the Fields needs.
Conditions of Role
- Position is located in Woodland Hills CA with current hybrid work standards.
- It will involve travel approximately 10-15% of year.
The expected salary range for this position is $180193.34 to $200214.83. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience geographic location and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
