Senior Marketing Designer

Ready to design products that actually matter As the Senior Product Designer for our Weather Studio - one of our four Product Studios - youll own the design vision for a key high-potential vertical.

You will be responsible for the design of the Weather Studios entire portfolio. This includes one of our core apps the Weather Radar which helps 30000 daily users stay safe and informed.

Your primary challenge is to lead the design transformation of the Weather Radar evolving it from a life-saving utility (like critical hurricane alerts) into an indispensable reliable personalized daily companion for a global audience. At the same time you will help shape the strategy and design for all other weather apps in the Studio.

We need a hands-on visionary who blends deep UX research with an agile fast-testing mindset to drive product discovery and deliver high-quality polished execution. Youll join our Design Chapter and be embedded in a dynamic cross-functional team to redefine how people interact with essential daily information.

What youll deliver

• Lead Design Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the product design vision for our pivot to a premium personalized weather experience.
• Concept to Execution: Own projects end-to-end. From user research and ideation to prototyping high-fidelity design iteration and validation.
• Deliver Interaction Excellence: Design and specify high-quality user interactions caring for the details of every tap button transition and micro-interaction within the app.
• Design Engaging User Experiences: Create intuitive and engaging experiences that leverage personalization high-quality data and a modern UX/UI to boost retention and engagement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Engineering Growth and other Designers to deliver cohesive high-performing design solutions and ensure high-quality delivery beyond the prototype.
  
  

What were looking for

UX/UI Design Expertise

• Proven experience leading foundational design strategy and deep user research for high-traffic mobile apps especially iOS. This includes planning and conducting rapid user research and experiments to uncover insights pain points and opportunities.
• Skilled in high-fidelity designs prototypes wireframes user flows and journeys.
• Deeply current on mobile app trends user preferences and best practices with specific demonstrable experience in iOS design patterns.
• Expertise with modern design tools (e.g. Figma Cursor) and AI prototyping tools (e.g. Stitch Figma Frame).
• Demonstrable experience working with and contributing to established Design Systems.

Strategic & Data-Driven Thinking

• Ability to translate complex data (like weather forecasts) and user needs into simple elegant and user-centric designs.
• Good to have: understanding of user retention models personalization strategies and mobile app monetization.

Data & AI Driven

• Data-savvy with experience interpreting performance data and iterating designs.
• Comfortable using and implementing AI tools to improve design quality and efficiency.

Soft Skills

• Conceptual thinker who can turn insights into feasible features.
• Proactive results-driven and highly energetic.
