Winter 2026 Co-Op AWS Developer

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St Toronto)
and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Co-op AWS Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for a college student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience in migrating enterprise applications to the cloud and building scalable solutions on AWS.
You will work closely with senior developers and architects to design build and automate components that enable smooth migration of applications from on-premise to AWS using Python and other cloud-native services.

Key Responsibilities
.Assist in the migration of APIs and backend applications from on-premise infrastructure to AWS.
.Develop and maintain automation scripts and deployment utilities using Python or .
.Support the setup configuration and integration of AWS services such as Lambda EC2 S3 ECS API Gateway DynamoDB and CloudWatch.
.Participate in building and testing serverless and container-based architectures.
.Work with the migration team to analyze existing systems and propose cloud-compatible designs.
.Support code deployment validation and post-migration testing.
.Document technical procedures migration steps and reusable scripts for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications
.Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
.Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS services.
.Basic knowledge of Python and/or for development or scripting tasks.
.Familiarity with REST APIs JSON and version control systems such as Git.
.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for learning cloud technologies.
.Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
