Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement perception and control algorithms for robotic arms and embodied AI systems.
Assist in integrating multimodal AI models (vision language force sensors) with robotic systems.
Conduct experiments in both simulated and real-world environments testing AI-driven robotic behavior.
Work with hardware platforms including robotic manipulators and mobile robots.
Support the preparation of research publications reports and presentations.
Collaborate with faculty postdocs and industry partners on AI and robotics research projects.
Assist in the maintenance and operation of research lab equipment and robotic systems.
Job Requirements:
Masters degree or Bachelors with 1 top-tier conference paper in Computer Science Robotics Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in robotic perception control or learning-based methods.
Proficiency in Python and C for AI and robotics applications.
Familiarity with robotic middleware (e.g. ROS MoveIt) and hardware integration.
Knowledge of machine learning reinforcement learning or vision-language models for robotics is a plus.
Hands-on experience with robotic arms (e.g. UR5 Franka Emika or similar) is desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
