Production Engineer
Location: Andover
Salary: 45000 - 50000
Hours: Day Shift 40 Hours per Week
Benefits: 22 days paid holiday Bank Holidays
About the Role
Syntech Recruitment are partnered with a highly recognizable Electronics Manufacturer who are seeking a Production Engineer to join their Engineering team.
You will provide technical support to production and engineering teams lead new product introduction (NPI) and drive continuous improvement across processes equipment and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to production teams resolving issues and improving processes
Lead product validation activities to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards
Support NPIs projects and assembly processes with robust engineering documentation
Verify and improve manufacturing processes using SOPs capability data and equipment assessments
Identify and implement continuous improvement to enhance quality efficiency and reduce waste
Support training needs for new and existing processes including documentation and delivery
Maintain high standards of workmanship technical discipline and support production leadership
Review customer documentation and ensure alignment with internal processes and standards
Assist with business management systems procedures and KPI reporting
About You
Ideally 5 years experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment
Engineering qualification (electronics) or equivalent experience
Strong technical support experience across production and customer-facing activities
Ability to provide feedback and drive improvements in build quality and efficiency
