Ideagen is seeking aSoftware Engineering Manager responsible for supervising and managing a SaaS software engineering team to ensure smooth team operation and effective collaboration by creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Responsibilities
Leading and mentoring your team through the full software development lifecycle
Collaborating with Product UX Infrastructure and Engineering leadership to deliver roadmap milestones
Driving Agile practices and continuous improvement across ceremonies and workflows
Overseeing defect resolution automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
Reporting progress and proactively managing delivery risks
Shaping technical decisions and contributing to engineering best practices
Skills and Experience
10 years in software development including 5 years with C#
Strong experience with C# .NET TypeScript/JavaScript HTML/CSS; React is a plus
Cloud-native development on Azure: app services containers microservices APIs
DevOps experience with Azure DevOps Octopus Docker Kubernetes
Solid understanding of Git code reviews and CI/CD workflows
Familiarity with cyber security principles and OWASP Top 10
Relational database experience preferably Azure SQL
3 years in Agile methodologies (Scrum etc.)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-900 or higher)
Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CEH)
