Were looking for a motivated and collaborative student passionate about Indigenous inclusion and advancing reconciliation in the workplace. This four-month summer placement (May to August 2026) is part of the Indigenous Relations team within the Strategy & Impact division at Farm Credit Canada (FCC).
In this role youll support initiatives that raise awareness and promote Indigenous inclusion across various business areas including Marketing Human Resources Research and Data Lending and Engagement. Your work will contribute to FCCs commitment to fostering strong respectful relationships with Indigenous businesses and communities and advancing inclusion within the agriculture industry.
What youll do
- Work in a team dedicated to supporting Indigenous agriculture and food
- Support the Indigenous Relations team in work that advances reconciliation in many focus areas throughout the company
- Build relationships across different teams to understand how FCC achieves goals
- Help build an inclusive workplace through participation in programs and activities
What were looking for

- Strong communication skills
- Team-focused approach
- Multi-tasker who can make informed decisions and solve problems
- Flexibility and readiness to adapt to shifting priorities and new information as projects evolve
What youll need
- Completion of at least one year of your post-secondary degree program
- Enrollment in a post-secondary degree in Indigenous studies business human resources marketing or finance
- Indigenous relations and community engagement experience is an asset
- Availability to work from May to August 2026
