KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Facilitate the identification remediation and prevention of impediments impacting the teams progress
- Develop and manage metrics that demonstrate the teams continuous improvement
- Facilitate daily stand-ups sprint planning PI Planning and other Agile ceremonies
- Actively manage retrospectives with a focus on positive and constructive feedback that drives continuous improvement
- Work closely with the product owners to ensure a well-defined and prioritized backlog
- Guide and coach the team in agile/scrum principles and best practices
- Engage with other Team Coaches to foster ideas improve workflow and model company culture
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 7 years experience coaching teams in an Agile environment
- Background in software development or product/program management
- Demonstrated success working with high-performing teams who are developing enhancing and maintaining custom software applications and enterprise solutions
- Strong facilitation coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to influence team members and stakeholders
- Proven ability to encourage constructive debate foster clarity and alignment and build shared commitment once decisions are made
- Focus on driving delivery while maintaining focus on quality
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe) and the judgement to apply them pragmatically
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g. Jira SharePoint)
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
