Agile Team Coach

Do you enjoy playing a pivotal role in helping teams elevate their delivery practices and strengthen cross-functional alignment in a mature Agile environment Kinsale Insurance is seeking an Agile Team Coach to enable teams optimize value delivery and enable decision making across a suite of custom applications and horizontal teams including Data Architecture and DevOps. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
• Facilitate the identification remediation and prevention of impediments impacting the teams progress
• Develop and manage metrics that demonstrate the teams continuous improvement
• Facilitate daily stand-ups sprint planning PI Planning and other Agile ceremonies
• Actively manage retrospectives with a focus on positive and constructive feedback that drives continuous improvement
• Work closely with the product owners to ensure a well-defined and prioritized backlog
• Guide and coach the team in agile/scrum principles and best practices
• Engage with other Team Coaches to foster ideas improve workflow and model company culture

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 7 years experience coaching teams in an Agile environment
• Background in software development or product/program management
• Demonstrated success working with high-performing teams who are developing enhancing and maintaining custom software applications and enterprise solutions
• Strong facilitation coaching and mentoring skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to influence team members and stakeholders
• Proven ability to encourage constructive debate foster clarity and alignment and build shared commitment once decisions are made
• Focus on driving delivery while maintaining focus on quality
• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe) and the judgement to apply them pragmatically
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g. Jira SharePoint)
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving continuous improvement
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
