We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a minimum 10 years of experience who wants to work and grow as a team player within our progressive multi-discipline firm. Ideal applicants will be well versed in all aspects of mechanical design and project management of industrial oil and gas petrochemical pipeline and industrial power related facilities. The desired individual should be comfortable consulting to owners and general contractors and have a desire to work as part of a multi-discipline engineering team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Approximate Base Salary 130k-180k based on experience
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate
- Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance
- Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)
- 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution

Qualifications :
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical engineering or related field
- PE license in Mechanical Engineering (licensed for at least 3 years)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design piping design and/or process design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare education federal and DOD science and technology and/or data center projects a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of California building codes and California AHJs
- Experience with HVAC and piping systems a plus
- Project Management experience and/or certifications
- Excellent leadership supervisory and writing and verbal communication skills
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Must be a self-starter who is able to see the big picture and connect the vision of the company with his/her job be persistent and follow through in a consistent manner.
- Passionate about the client or pursuit and takes ownership of his/her work.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
- Possess strong critical thinking organizational and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word Excel and Adobe InDesign software preferred. Must understand database concepts. Working knowledge of marketing databases and proposal resources files.
- General knowledge of firms practice clientele goals policies and procedures.
- Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures and basic marketing principles.
- Able to work independently as a team member and as a team leader.
- Strong organizational ability; detail oriented; high degree of accuracy.
- Must work well under pressure.
- Positive contributor to overall office and department goals culture and morale.
