Were looking for a hands-on Maintenance & Purchasing Coordinator reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor your key responsibilities include:
- Managing national stock control issuing and dispatch systems.
- Overseeing purchasing function to secure best pricing.
- Coordinating planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
- Conducting monthly stock takes and managing distribution of machines equipment and spare parts.
- Liaising with customers regarding machine inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborating with maintenance team on inventory management strategies.
- Analysing inventory data to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Negotiating with suppliers for favourable terms and quality standards.
- Ensuring compliance with policies regulations and best practices.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions and supplier information.
Qualifications :
- 2-3years of hands on experience in maintenance planning purchasing and stock control within manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in JDE or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer service skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Forklift & Knuckle Boom license preferable
- Basic knowledge in Maintenance of Plant & equipment.
- Ability to assist fitters as and when required.
