Job Summary

Were looking for a hands-on Maintenance & Purchasing Coordinator reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing national stock control issuing and dispatch systems.
  • Overseeing purchasing function to secure best pricing.
  • Coordinating planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Conducting monthly stock takes and managing distribution of machines equipment and spare parts.
  • Liaising with customers regarding machine inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Collaborating with maintenance team on inventory management strategies.
  • Analysing inventory data to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Negotiating with suppliers for favourable terms and quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies regulations and best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions and supplier information.

Qualifications :

  • 2-3years of hands on experience in maintenance planning purchasing and stock control within manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in JDE or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Forklift & Knuckle Boom license preferable
  • Basic knowledge in Maintenance of Plant & equipment.
  • Ability to assist fitters as and when required.
