Were looking for aProcurement Assistant Managerto join ourLogistics & Services (L&S)procurement team inMexico City. This role is a great opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their procurement career working in a global environment with high exposure to strategic sourcing and supplier management.

Youll be responsible for managing procurement activities within a specific category product or geography supporting the development and execution of strategies that drive cost efficiency and service excellence. Youll collaborate closely with Procurement Managers Operations Legal Finance and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement

• Support the implementation of regional procurement strategies aligned with Maersks business goals.
• Execute procurement projects ensuring alignment with cost quality and delivery expectations.

Supplier Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
• Assist in complex negotiations and contract management to secure favorable terms.

Strategic Direction & Savings

• Contribute to the strategic direction of procurement to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Track and report on procurement KPIs and supplier performance.

Performance Monitoring

• Monitor procurement performance identifying successes and areas for improvement.
• Ensure that savings and service improvements are measured and followed up.

Continuous Improvement

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and strategies.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to help evolve our procurement approach.

• Understand how to balance vendor relationships while protecting Maersks interests
• Are comfortable working in a cross-functional fast-paced environment
• Have solid skills inMS Office;Power BIis a plus
