Technical & Regulatory Consultant

This role offers the opportunity to influence product development support strategic initiatives and ensure our operations remain aligned with regulatory expectations. What youll be doing:

• Analysing regulatory and legislative changes impacting Retail Annuities
• Supporting the implementation of compliant processes and procedures
• Providing technical and regulatory guidance to projects and initiatives
• Building strong relationships with operational teams to support change adoption
• Advising on complex queries and complaints with clear informed recommendations
• Embedding Conduct Risk principles into day-to-day operations
• Reviewing product performance to ensure alignment with customer needs
• Delivering training and support to ensure accurate adoption of changes

Qualifications :

Who were looking for:

• Proven experience in regulatory change within financial services
• Strong understanding of FCA regulations and Conduct Risk principles
• Knowledge of annuity products customer journeys and governance frameworks
• Ability to provide clear technical guidance and influence project delivery
• Experience drafting and reviewing customer and regulatory communications
• Effective relationship-building across operational and customer service teams
• Familiarity with product performance reviews and customer outcome monitoring
• Relevant pensions or financial services qualification (desirable)
