Job Summary
Transport Technical Assistant
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong administrative IT and organisational skills to join our Transport Operations team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality administrative and operational support to the Senior Chargehand and Chargehands
- Assisting with the coordination of home-to-school transport arrangements
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date transport records
- Handling enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Providing cover on transport routes as and when required
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven administrative IT and organisational skills
- Be a strong team player with the ability to prioritise their own workload
- Work effectively under pressure to meet targets and deadlines
- Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate tact diplomacy and a high level of confidentiality
- Hold a full Category B driving licence
