The Upholstery Engineer will be responsible for maintaining various equipment and fixtures inside of the entire property low rise areas. The Upholstery Engineer is also responsible for reporting all equipment and fixture errors to Management. This person will assist all other trades and crafts with routine and emergency work assignments as well as all other duties as assigned by area and management.
Qualifications :
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in the upholstery trade utilizing one or more of the following: fabrication and installation of upholstered wall coverings draperies furniture theater seating and awnings; installation repairs and maintenance of all gaming layouts rails and seating; and fabrication and installation of vehicle upholstery helpful.
- Candidates must be skilled in working with leather.
- Requires experience in cutting and sewing all types of fabrics and leather.
- Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent and candidates must be fluent in English.
- Must be able to read understand and work from blueprints drawings and sketches. Must be proficient in the safe use of all trade related hand and power tools safety and protective equipment.
- Candidates must be able to respond immediately to emergency situations and calls.
- A valid Drivers License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
- Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
