Key job responsibilities
* Lead comprehensive healthcare journey mapping and Jobs-to-be-Done research to understand clinician provider and patient needs.
* Design and execute mixed-method research studies that address sensitive healthcare topics including in-clinic patient visits central health record management and telehealth experiences.
* Inform segmentation studies and persona development specific to healthcare audiences.
* Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into product development and roadmaps.
* Synthesize findings from healthcare research workstreams to identify patterns and opportunities across the health experience.

- 5 years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact experience
- 5 years of hands-on work with: field research ethnography lab-based user testing remote testing paper prototype testing iterative prototype testing concept testing and survey design experience
- Experience in leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
- Experience with field research ethnography lab-based user testing remote testing paper prototype testing iterative prototype testing concept testing and survey design
- Experience with all aspects of research (study design recruiting moderation analysis reporting)
- Experience with behavioral data collection quantitative data analysis and statistics
- Have a portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g. study plans reports personas)

- Masters degree in Psychology Sociology Anthropology Human Computer Interaction or a related field
- Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- Strong understanding of healthcare privacy concerns and trust-building research methods including the handling of protected health information (PHI).
- Expertise in zero to one and generative research methodologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $226500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
