Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety Compliance & Monitoring
Ensure compliance with all hotel corporate and local occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections across all departments including guest areas back-of-house kitchen and engineering zones.
Identify hazards assess risks and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
Ensure all contractors and suppliers adhere to hotel safety standards.
2. Training & Awareness
Conduct safety induction and refresher training for all team members.
Organize regular fire drills first aid training and emergency response exercises.
Promote safety awareness through communication boards briefings and campaigns.
Ensure employees are familiar with emergency exits fire assembly points and evacuation procedures.
3. Incident & Emergency Management
Investigate all accidents near misses and unsafe conditions and maintain proper documentation.
Work closely with department heads to implement corrective actions.
Ensure first aid boxes firefighting equipment and emergency systems are regularly checked and maintained.
Assist in managing emergencies (e.g. fire medical security incidents) following hotel procedures.
4. Coordination & Reporting
Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g. Fire Department DOSH Local Council) as required.
Maintain up-to-date safety records inspection reports and training logs.
Prepare monthly safety performance reports for management review.
Support the Safety Committee and coordinate regular meetings.
5. Continuous Improvement
Recommend improvements to enhance the hotels safety culture.
Stay updated with local safety laws best practices and Accors sustainability & safety standards.
Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to health and safety.

Qualifications :
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health Environmental Science or related discipline.
Minimum 23 years of experience in workplace or hospitality safety supervision.
Certified in First Aid Fire Safety or Safety & Health (NIOSH or equivalent).
Good understanding of local OHS laws and hotel safety standards.
Strong communication and leadership skills; able to conduct training effectively.
Detail-oriented responsible and proactive with a hands-on approach.
