Job Summary

About Unit:

Performance Engineering team perform in-depth performance analysis leveraging scalable dashboarding and KPI monitoring infrastructure to identify optimizations and drive continuous improvements to system performance.

What Awaits you:

Professional knowledge of POSIX operating systems particularly Linux and QNX and their usage in Embedded Systems with a specialization in real-time systems and their unique performance considerations.
Application performance optimization proficient in Profiling tools for identifying bottlenecks (like strace perf and ftrace). Skilled in debugging stack and thread context switching with knowledge of system calls kernel scheduling and I/O subsystems to enhance application performance.
understanding of memory caching mechanisms focusing on optimizing cache utilization reducing cache misses and ensuring efficient memory access patterns for application performance.
Proficient in testing non-functional requirements including performance metrics measurement such as latency throughput and resource utilization ensuring that applications meet stringent performance standards.
Professional experience in software development using object-oriented languages with a preference for modern C and its application in performance-critical systems.

What you should bring along:

Skilled in debugging stack and thread context switching. knowledge of system calls kernel scheduling and I/O subsystems to enhance application performance.
Good understanding of Linux system and knowledge of system programming
More than 6 year of experience C and Linux/QNX with deep understanding of Linux and RTOS system
Willingness and ability to take leadership for topics within a team.
Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (top htop iostat vmstat nmon perf etc.) and analysing system performance data.
Ability to work independentlybut with a deep understanding of the overall context of the team effort.
Ability to learn new technology as per project needs
Good Team player & Excellent problem-solving skills
