JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Madlyn L. Hanes Library at Penn State Harrisburg seeks a motivated and responsible individual to work part-time in the Access Services Department.
Responsibilities
Candidates must have strong interpersonal and computer skills and the ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Minimum job requirements include excellent customer service skills a high degree of dependability and flexibility and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous library experience preferred.
The rate of pay for this position is $15/hour. The person works 21 hours a week. Applicants must be able to work year-round. During the fall and spring semesters the required work schedule for this position is Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. During the summer sessions and holiday breaks work schedules are based upon the librarys operating hours.
