The Senior Vice President- Chief Accounting Officer leads our public reporting technical accounting corporate consolidations global business services and business compliance teams.

Responsibilities/Duties

Enterprise Value Creation

  • This role requires a blend of business finance and accounting leadership. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in adding value across various functional areas. As an enterprise leader we look for this position to both recommend and lead business projects that contribute to enterprise growth and profitability.
  • This role is one of the companys top financial leaders. Such superb leadership management and communication skills are imperative to succeed. They will facilitate the organizations long-term vision through personal business insight thought leadership and relationships.
  • They will integrate accounting practices within the business model to add value. The ability to develop and sustain practical simple and value-oriented solutions to support operations and our customers is focus for this position and all leaders of our organization is on the customer.
  • They will play a key role in the acquisition process including due diligence valuation and closing activities. They also will be actively involved in post-close integration.
  • They will work closely with Financial Planning and Analysis to create new approaches to simplify and speed up the methods of answering questions and other financial support activities to decision makers across the company with relevant and timely information to improve business performance. Enables the FP&A team by providing timely accurate reporting together with insights into actual results and business trends.
  • They are experienced at providing mentorship in establishing vision and goals with a track record of developing high-caliber professionals. Works across the entire finance organization to develop talent providing meaningful development experiences for employees and advancing the collective caliber of human capital within the finance organization.
  • They maintain a well-rounded understanding of financial markets economics and corporate finance will be important for this person in achieving objectives on a company-wide basis.

Technical Leadership

  • Provides leadership to our Global Business Services team in India to foster a culture of continuous improvement and provide exceptional support to TrueBlues global shared service organization.
  • Leads our Business Governance and Compliance team to develop implement and upgrade financial controls. Engages directly with both internal and external auditors during financial internal control and operational audits
  • Owns the day-to-day relationship with external auditor and coordinating our efforts to achieve an efficient and effective external audit.
  • Maintains a well-rounded understanding of financial markets economics and corporate finance will be important for this person in achieving objectives on a company-wide basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Able to build consensus across disparate groups and marshal resources to successfully implement a plan.
  • Track record of instituting a culture of professional development and mentorship. Able to inspire a team towards action and an exciting future.
  • Successful history of obtaining results from others particularly those in management and leadership-oriented positions.
  • Comfortable taking assigned objectives and developing methods to achieve success with little direct supervision.
  • Enjoys bringing creative and new approaches to solve issues. Comfortable taking professional risk with the objective of creating value.
  • Strong working knowledge with multi-location operations public companies and capital markets.
  • Experienced with enterprise and business investment skills include creating P&L balance sheet and cash flow forecasts based on key operating and financial variables.
  • Compelling experience managing complex initiatives at the enterprise level. Broad experience across multiple functional areas including a strong grounding and aptitude towards operations.
  • Experience developing technology strategies to drive functional and enterprise efficiencies and business value.
  • Seasoned at giving presentations to a wide range of audiences.
  • Experienced user MS Suite Oracle and business intelligence applications.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance; preference for an MBA
  • 15 years of finance & accounting experience including technical accounting and significant leadership experience.
  • Experience reporting to and working with C-level executives and Board of Directors.
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience as a successful manager/senior manager

Salary Range

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $257800 $309400 per year plus bonus and equity.

Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position including experience training and other considerations permitted by law. We consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with applicable law.
