About the Position
The Project Manager Studio Production should be equal parts nimble producer effective project manager and industry aficionado. The ideal person has experience working in a broadcast studio environment. Detail oriented with an ability to work collaboratively with others and be able to maintain a professional presence with executives daily. While their focus will be on supporting the Producer - we see the role as an extension to the broader digital production group - supporting our team holistically from end to end in a highly collaborative environment.
RequirementsWhat youll be responsible for:
- Support the research development and delivery of studio content
- Project support (trafficking materials and versions managing timelines scopes and supporting various productions - both photo & video)
- Attend all studio meetings organize notes and action items
- Hiring arranging and organizing crew members and supervising production personnel
- Assist in maintaining operations to ensure the studio team is prepared to meet/exceed expectations and client groups are informed and needs are met.
- Provide support retrieving critical information from the business to ensure accuracy in content produced along with producing photo/video shoots in partnership with a broader producing team as needed.
- Work with Producer to identify opportunities for improvement / studio enhancement
The skills and experience you should have:
- 2 years relevant broadcast production experience.
- Detail-oriented deadline driven and able to handle a high-volume workload.
- Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects and workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in both a quick-turn newsroom-like atmosphere as well as part of longer range produced projects.
- Ability to produce effective content quickly and extremely detail-oriented.
- First person experience working in broadcast production spaces.
Its a plus if you have:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience running a prompter and/or other broadcast crew positions a bonus.
- Experience working with Airtable or similar project management tools.
