Position Summary

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7AM-3:30PM

  • 100% on-site

Greendale is one of Catalents gummy technology development and manufacturing facilities in North America. The site manufactures organic and vegan-based nutraceuticals via confection to enhance wellness for all consumers.

The Manufacturing Lead will efficiently run and coordinate daily operation of Mogul machine according to the production schedule. The Manufacturing Lead performs minor troubleshooting and resource allocation for assembly and operations.

The Role

  • Assist leadership with execution of daily production activity.

  • Ensure any changes in processes and procedures are properly
    implemented.

  • Assist Operations leadership with improving performance through
    continuous improvement methodology and problem analysis to reduce unscheduled downtime minor equipment stops breakdowns process upsets material quality losses.

  • Assist the sanitation process of equipment.

  • Train and mentor crew so that they can produce at maximum efficiency.

  • Ensure adequate staffing direction and corrective action.

  • Assist employees in proper safety procedures and identify/eliminate avoidable accidents.

  • Serve as a training resource for operations crew regarding skills safety and plant process/flow. Respond to minor breakdowns and jams of equipment as required

  • Other duties assigned

The Candidate

  • High school diploma GED required

  • 6 months of manufacturing experience required

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to other employees of the organization.

  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds frequently lift and move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 1000 pounds.

  • While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to stand use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms climb or balance.

  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
