Our EnergyCo NSW Strategy & Policy Division is currentlyseekingto appoint anAdvisor Parliament and Government Servicesas a coordination and quality anchor for Ministerial Parliamentary and Executive matters helping EnergyCo deliveraccuratetimelyand compliant correspondence briefs and responses that support informed decision-making.

In this role you will collate and organise advice for Ministerial and Parliamentary outputs; prepare and review correspondence on urgent or sensitive matters; support project delivery by coordinating stakeholder input and tracking milestones; monitor the status and quality of Ministerial requests; and build strong relationships across EnergyCo theNSW Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment & Waterand Ministerial develop a solid understanding of Parliamentary functions and government systems contribute to process improvements that lift team efficiency andmaintainaccuraterecords and tracking systems to uphold transparency and confidentiality.

About You
You bring knowledge of NSW Government systems and Parliamentary functions experience building productive stakeholder relationships strong written communication skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume environment. Collaborative and customer-focused youre confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels to deliver clear accessible communication on time and to a high standard.

Youre an effective communicator and team player who plans and prioritises with purpose. You think critically to solve problems drive results and apply sound project management practices to keep work on track. With integrity and accountability at the core of your approach you make smart use of contemporary technology and collaboration tools to deliver outcomes efficiently and effectively.

The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Governments
Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap which aims to transform the states electricity system into one that is cheap clean and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020 EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the States first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs) which are located in the Central-West Orana New England South West Hunter-Central Coast and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities investors and industry to investigate plan recommend and coordinate generation storage and network infrastructure projects.

We acknowledge the ongoing custodial responsibilities of the Aboriginal peoples of NSW to care for Country and water and are committed to establishing meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal peoples in the management of the environment.
