Adjunct Instructor Energy Technician EOC-ADJ-11425

Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of five years of electric gas or customer meter service operations experience. Prior utility company operations supervisory experience and/or experience managing a union workforce.

Employment Experience Preferred: Teaching or training background industry certifications related to gas/electric systems safety or tool use familiarity with vocational training.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Adjunct Instructor reports to the Associate Coordinator of Instructional Services or his/her designee andconducts classes in theory and practice for areas related to:

Properties of electricity and natural gas and their related systems.
Operation of meters and regulation equipment.
Hazardous conditions safety standards and use of protective equipment.
Use of power tools

The hourly rate for Adjunct Instructor is $46.00.
