The iconic Hotel del Coronadois looking for a Seasonal Storeroom / Receiving Clerk (Purchasing) to join their amazing team!

Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a$400M renovationand expansion the resort is more stunning than on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms cottages and villas with 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars a food truck marketplace ice cream shop and in-room dining.

• Classification: Temporary (approximately until the first week of January 2026)
• Shift: AM Shift - weekends and holidays availability required.
• Pay Rate: $21.20 per hour

What will I be doing

• Receives and places products in their assigned storeroom location in an organized manner.
• Checks items received against purchase orders to verify accuracy of the order.
• Rotates perishable stock so that all food items are fresh.
• Issues and delivers products from the Storeroom to Departments. *Check each item on the requisitions which may involve weighing counting verifying each item and checking them against specifications to verify accuracy and approvals for the order
• Conducts inventories as directed. Ensure all food beverage and general merchandise items are listed on inventory lists.

Qualifications:

• Be able to lift 50 lbs and stand during shift
• Experience in related fields
• High school level education or equal
• Must have some knowledge of food beverage
• Basic mathematical and computer skills to track and receive volumes of deliveries.
• Ability to read write and speak the English language fluently in order to complete forms inventories read billings invoices and communicate with co-workers and purveyors.
• Office machines: operate calculator/10-key copier fax telephone.
• Organization skills
• Work in face pace environment
