The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager to support STL Production Equipment Maintenance in Berkeley Missouri.
The Production Equipment Maintenance Senior Manager will lead maintenance and reliability initiatives as well as the oversight of maintenance repair and optimization of production equipment for Boeing St. Louis Region (Saint Louis St. Charles and Mascoutah). The ideal candidate will possess a working background and knowledge of production equipment and maintenance management.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employee and first-level management activities within the maintenance occupation including analysis project administration provisioning and production equipment maintenance
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals and objectives
Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture
Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years experience in Maintenance and Facilities
3 years formal leadership experience
3 years experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree or higher in relevant field
Lean Six Sigma experience

This position requires travel up to 10% of the time
