Role Description:
The Resilience Water Business Line of Arcadis is searching for an Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology to join our world class consulting firm in Los Angeles or Irvine CA. The ideal candidate will have studied industrial controls rotating machinery and three-phase power systems as part of their curriculum.
The primary focus of this role will be to provide entry level technical design with a focus on power distribution in a multi-discipline team environment for projects that involve the collection treatment and distribution of water for public use.
To be successful in this position the candidate will need to be performance-driven team-oriented and outgoing with a committed work ethic.
Role Accountabilities:
As an Entry Level Electrical Engineer at Arcadis you will contribute to the electrical system design for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment plants pumping stations related buildings and other industrial facilities. Your responsibilities will include performing design calculations developing one-line diagrams control schematics lighting plans grounding systems and detailed electrical system specifications. You will utilize power systems analysis software such as ETAP and SKM Power Tools to conduct power system analysis. Over time you will become more involved in field investigations as well as the preparation of reports and memos related to electrical engineering tasks. Additionally you will provide engineering services during the construction phase including reviewing equipment submittals shop drawings and responding to contractor requests for information. The role also involves short-term travel within the southwest region of the United States for project meetings and site visits.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $59798 - $90877. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
