ISS STOXX is seeking a Corporate Governance Research Analyst with a focus on the Polish market. In this role you will contribute to the development of high-quality governance research and analysis on publicly listed companies in Poland.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse corporate governance and financial data to produce detailed research reports on publicly listed Polish companies.
- Issue proxy voting recommendations in line with ISS Governances guidelines.
- Engage with companies and institutional investors regarding shareholder meetings.
- Respond to internal and external queries related to research reports.
- Contribute articles and insights to ISS Governance publications.
- Support the development and refinement of governance policies.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and professional development initiatives.
- Build deep expertise in corporate governance investment and shareholder issues within the Polish market.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of finance capital markets and corporate governance.
- A degree in law is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Polish legislation relevant to corporate governance.
- Fluency in Polish and English both written and spoken.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret large volumes of information.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills especially during peak periods such as the Eastern European general meeting season.
