General Summary of Position:
The Senior Lab Manager manages the daily operations of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (EECE) instructional and research laboratories and the EECE maker space. Responsibilities include equipment management budgeting maintenance and supervising personnel all requiring strong technical and engineering skills. They also act as the main safety liaison with UMass Lowells Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) office and work closely with EECE faculty staff and students to support teaching and research activities. Additionally this person is responsible for providing lab instruction as needed.
