Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care / Pediatric PACUfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality pre- and post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients in the PACU.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments monitor vital signs and promptly identify complications.
Administer medications and treatments per protocol maintaining accurate and detailed documentation.
Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition using critical thinking and clinical expertise.
Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists surgeons and the interdisciplinary care team.
Educate and support patients and families throughout the perioperative process.
Operate and maintain monitoring and life-support equipment safely and effectively.
Comply with hospital policies infection control standards and safety procedures.
Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling including occasional weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

License: Active and unrestricted New York State RN license (required)
Certifications: BLS (required); PALS (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 1.52 years of recent acute care experience in a comparable facility
Required: Pediatric critical care experience
Preferred: PACU and Level 1 trauma center experience
