Our Köping hotel offers à la carte dining river-view rooms plus free Wi-Fi and parking. Facilities include a garden terrace and bar.

Västerås city center is just a 30-minute drive away while Köping Train Station is only a 5-minute walk from Hotell Gillet. The town of Arboga can be reached in 20 minutes by car and the larger city of Eskilstuna is about a 40-minute drive away.

Responsibilities

The Chef performs a range of duties around the kitchen including:

• Preparation and presentation of à la carte dishes and event menus / Tillagning och upplägg av à la carte-rätter och eventmenyer
  
• Preparation planning and handling of ingredients / Förberedelse planering och råvaruhantering
  
• Ensure and maintain the highest standards of quality flavour and hygiene in line with current guidelines and procedures / Säkerställa och upprätthålla högsta standarden av kvalitet smak och hygien i enlighet med gällande riktlinjer och rutiner.
  
• Contributing to the development of menus and dining concepts / Bidra till utveckling av menyer och koncept
  
• Working closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience /Samarbete med restaurang- och köksteamet för bästa möjliga gästupplevelse

Requirements

• Has several years of experience in a similar position supported by strong credentials and references / Har flera års erfarenhet av en liknande roll med goda referenser och meriter.
  
• Demonstrates a genuine passion for cooking with an excellent sense of flavour presentation and quality / Har en genuin passion för matlagning samt en utmärkt känsla för smak presentation och kvalitet.
  
• Is responsible adaptable and comfortable working evenings and weekends /Är ansvarstagande flexibel och trivs med att arbeta kvällar och helger.
  
• Works well in a team environment and contributes positively with energy professionalism and engagement / Har god samarbetsförmåga och bidrar till en positiv arbetsmiljö med energi professionalism och engagemang
