Location: Bel Air
Contract: 13 weeks contract assignment (7 on / 7 off schedule)- with possible extension
Shifts: 6x10hr Nights - 7on/7off - holidays required
RPh and state license required.

About the Role
Provide specialized inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This role involves preparing verifying and dispensing medications for pediatric and adolescent patients including high-alert and specialized therapies. The position requires hospital experience and comfort working in a pediatric care environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare compound and dispense medications including IV antibiotics chemotherapy hyperalimentation and TPN.
- Provide pediatric geriatric renal and therapeutic drug monitoring dosing.
- Administer and monitor high-alert medications and pain-controlled analgesia (PCA).
- Ensure sterile technique in medication preparation and packaging of antineoplastic agents.
- Use electronic documentation systems (EPIC) and automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis Accudose etc.).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize pharmacotherapy management for complex pediatric patients.
Requirements
- Licensure: RPh with valid state license.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year hospital pharmacy experience
- Certifications: BLS required; additional certifications preferred.
- Skills: IV preparation compounding chemotherapy handling clinical dosing pharmacokinetic dosing therapeutic monitoring.
