Job Description Pharmacist
Location: Sahuarita AZ
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Pay: $2000 weekly
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in Sahuarita. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment experience in a hospital setting and the ability to support interdisciplinary teams by providing medication therapeutic guidance and real-time consults.
This role requires active participation in code blue events providing immediate medication recommendations and clinical expertise. Pharmacists will also respond to inquiries from physicians and nursing staff and complete patient consults as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Active Arizona Pharmacy License (AZ State Board)
- ACLS & BLS certifications
- Cerner experience
- Omnicell experience
- Ability to attend code blues and provide medication recommendations
- Ability to answer provider/nurse questions and complete consults
- At least 1 year of recent hospital experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board Certification and/or Accredited Pharmacy Residency
- Strong clinical communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
