CW Ride and Handling Engineer (99W207)

Job Description:

• Development of ride and handling performance of vehicle frame body and chassis (suspension bushing) through prediction evaluation and analysis.
• Use CAE FEA MBD or other simulation methods to solve problems.
• Collect vehicle and bench test measurements while collaborating with technician team members.
• Analyze data organize and visualization to support vehicle dynamics development.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• 2 years experience working as an engineer (inc. industry co-op/internship SAE project TL).
• Completed academic coursework in mechanics engineering (structures vibrations or automotive dynamics).

  General Requirements:

  • Experience with engineering experimentation (planning measurements statistical analysis reporting)
  • Experience with commercial FEA pre-processors solvers and post-processors

    Preferred:

• Experience contributing to a project as a member of a diverse team
