Job Description

Job Title -Electrical Design Engineer

Experience - 3- 10 Years

Location - Chennai

Notice - Immediate to 15 days

Job Responsibilities:

Creation of Electrical schematicsLayout design& cable generation using SEE Electric software as per Standards.
Conversion of legacy machines Electrical schematics for newupgradesas per Standards.
Generation of part list and cable list from SEE Electric software.
Perform power calculation for Main disconnectorswitch transformerCircuit breakers& cabinet thermal calculation.
Should be able to select breakers Sensors Drives motors safety devices according to the required safety Pl level.
Perform document creation Revision Releasing in Team Center software.
Perform self-quality checks and ensure accuracy and consistency in all deliveries.
Perform replacement of obsolete electrical parts by maintaining Form Fit and Functions of the existing design of the machines.
Excellent oral & written English communication.
Proficiency inFrench will be added advantage.

Work Experience

Good Knowledge of Electrical Standards & symbols Pneumatic symbols.
Must have Hands-on experience in Low voltagecontrol paneldesignAutomationcontrol Panelfor SPM.
Experience in Concept design of Schematic architectureElectrical designcalculation.
Experience in Schematic Single line drawing Layout Bill of material - Part list & Cable list.
Should have Knowledge in selection of Electrical components such as SensorsVFD PLC Servo drives and motors.
Knowledge of PLC such as AB Siemens and HMI will be an advantage.
Must have good knowledge in Microsoft office tools.
Must have good knowledge inElectrical CAD/EPLAN/SEE -electrical.
Ability toread and upgrade electrical schematics for legacy machines.

Qualification:

BE/ (Electrical and Electronics Engineering /Electrical andInstrumentation/Electronics and Communication).
