Precast Concrete Laborer

Brayman Precast in Saxonburg PA is looking for a full-time Precast Concrete Laborer with a strong work ethic who enjoys hands-on work. The Precast laborer will work in our precast concrete fabrication operation.

SCHEDULE PAY AND BENEFITS OF THE CONCRETE FABRICATION LABORER

Typical Schedules: 8-hour shift days (6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30) Monday through Friday. Overtime is often required at times to meet project needs.

ABOUT THE PRECAST CONCRETE LABORER

As a Precast Laborer you will work primarily on concrete fabrication responsibilities. You will work with a team who constructs formwork assembles molds preassembles rebar cages mixes and places concrete as well as finishing the cast concrete. Each unit is made to be picked off the truck and placed into the construction of a structure without additional field work.

In order to accomplish your job tasks you will operate hand and power tools related to both wood and metal work and other equipment as needed. You will work to maintain a clean and safe work environment for you and your colleagues. Your desire for variety will be satisfied as you assist your team with general labor duties and perform a variety of tasks needed to accomplish company goals.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude to work with our team in a dynamic fast-paced environment. You will need to have at least one year of relevant experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use tools and equipment related to concrete fabrication.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks related to concrete fabrication.
• Ability to finish concrete or learn to finish concrete.
• Ability to perform general laborer duties.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions. This position may require working at heights in confined spaces around heavy equipment and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. Team Members will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies due to these safety risks.
