In this role you will be responsible for delivering emergency medical services assessing patient conditions and coordinating care with healthcare teams. Your expertise will play a crucial part in ensuring patients receive timely and effective treatment in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a timely manner
- Assess and diagnose patients medical conditions
- Administer treatments and medications as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols and regulations
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) degree
- Mid-senior level experience in emergency medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Jefferson
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Experience in patient care within an emergency department setting
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
No call shifts
Patient Volume: 8 per day 3k annually
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
