Job Summary

An Instructional Assistant English LanguageLearners (ELL) assists ELL teachers in reviewing and reinforcing lessons tostudents; performs related duties as requested.

ELIGIBILITY:APPLICANT MUST BE FLUENT SPANISH.An applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED recognized by theOhio Department of Education. Original diplomas transcripts andParapro results must be presented for verification by the Classified Office ofthe Human Resources Department.

An applicant must possess a strong desire and willingness to assist teachers and administrators in serving a diverse student population.
An applicant must have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students parents co-workers and supervisors.
An applicant if hired must obtain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education.

SPECIAL NOTE:Must be BilingualPrefer strong Math/ScienceSkills and good Communication Skills.
